This interview with Steffen Hamann was special for me. I was a point guard and so was he. He has been a role model. Growing up, I remember many early mornings (2006 WC in Japan and 2008 Olympics in China) watching him and the German National Team in “the Nowitzki Era”. Beyond his impressive career, he and the entire FCBB organization have made it their mission to make basketball more popular, inclusive, and a better game for everyone. Him joining me for a chat specifically for referees is a testament for that.
